dc.description.abstractO presente trabalho tem como lugar de intervenção os estaleiros da Margueira e a frente ribeirinha até Cacilhas, em Almada. Esta encontra-se desordenada e pouco qualificada, tendo como referencial metropolitano desse conjunto o interface rodoviário, ferroviário e fluvial de Cacilhas. O projecto centra-se em conferir novos usos à área correspondente aos antigos Estaleiros da Lisnave, redesenhando o aterro e a sua articulação com a envolvente, o planalto de Almada e a frente ribeirinha de Cacilhas. Desenvolve-se uma proposta na qual o desenho urbano suporta a articulação com o tecido envolvente, onde é definido um programa funcional para o reuso dos antigos edifícios do vasto estaleiro desactivado. A permeabilidade entre espaço público e os usos públicos dos pisos térreos desenham um chão comum contínuo, que reinventa relações entre a cidade e o rio, tendo como principal elemento deste conjunto um Centro de Arqueologia Náutica e Subaquática. A concretização do trabalho explora as componentes teóricas e práticas que um projecto congrega. O presente documento articula essa procura e resultados ao longo de vários capítulos sequentes que permitem acompanhar a idealização e materialização do toque da cidade com o rio a partir do reúso dos vestígios industriaispt_PT
dc.description.abstractThis work focuses on the Margueira shipyards and the riverfront to Cacilhas, in Almada. This is disorganized and poorly qualified, with the Cacilhas road, rail and river interface as its metropolitan reference point. The project focuses on giving new uses to the area corresponding to the old Lisnave Shipyards, redesigning the landfill and its articulation with the surroundings, the Almada plateau and the Cacilhas riverfront. A proposal is developed in which the urban design supports articulation with the surrounding fabric, where a functional program is defined for the reuse of the old buildings of the vast deactivated shipyard. The permeability between public space and the public uses of the ground floors design a continuous common ground, which reinvents relationships between the city and the river, with the main element of this set being a Centre for Nautical and Underwater Archaeology. The completion of the work explores the theoretical and practical components that a project brings together. This document articulates this search and results throughout several subsequent chapters that allow us to follow the idealization and materialization of the city’s contact with the river through the reuse of industrial remains.pt_PT
