A presente dissertação é sobre a Caracterização dos hábitos e o consumo dos praticantes de Corrida de Meio-Fundo e Fundo participantes dos eventos realizados pela empresa WeRun. Para tentar entender o fenómeno da popularização da prática de corrida, deve-se ter o entendimento sobre a motivação do praticante desse desporto e os seus hábitos no dia-a-dia.
O presente estudo resulta da necessidade de se ter um conhecimento mais aprofundado e compreender quais são os fatores motivacionais que influenciam a frequência com que os consumidores correm, os fatores predominantes que os levam à prática da corrida, perceber se existe um acompanhamento personalizado por parte de um técnico credenciado e quais os seus hábitos de consumo de material desportivo e suplementação desportiva. Para tal, em primeiro lugar, enquadrou-se a temática da relação entre Lazer, Desporto e Saúde. Em segundo, o enquadramento histórico da corrida em Portugal, estudou-se as motivações que o levam a correr e as suas tendências de consumo, e por fim a Organização, Planeamento e Marketing de um evento Desportivo.
O objetivo geral aspira aprofundar o conhecimento sobre os praticantes de Meio-Fundo e Fundo participantes dos eventos realizados pela empresa WeRun com idades compreendidas entre os 24 e os 75 anos de idade tentando-se perceber os fatores motivacionais que impulsionam uma pessoa a praticar atividade física e os seus hábitos de consumo.
Face ao objeto da investigação em causa, o estudo de caso foi eleito como método da presente investigação. O processo combinado de recolha de dados englobou pesquisa documental e inquéritos por questionário.
Os dados de natureza qualitativa foram analisados à luz da análise de conteúdo, os dados de natureza quantitativa foram tratados com recurso ao software Microsoft Office Excel 2007 segundo a abordagem das estatísticas descritivas.
The present dissertation it is about the consumer sportsman's behavior. The intention is to understand which are the motivational factors that influence the frequency with that the consumers run. For such, in first place, the theme of the consumer sportsman's behavior was approached. In second, it was studied the motivations that take the athletes to run, and finally their consumption tendencies. The crescent growth of apprentices of Race in Portugal, as well as of the parallel, it originated, the statement of the Race while area of scientific knowledge. To try to understand the phenomenon of the popularization of the race practice, he/she is also due to have the understanding about the apprentices of that sport motivation. In this perspective, we tried to notice through the questionnaire application the motivational factors that impel a person to practice physical activity being my general objective to deepen the knowledge on the apprentices of Race in Portugal. Face to the object of the investigation in cause, the case study was chosen as method of the present investigation. The combined process of it collects of data included documental research and inquiries for questionnaire. The data of qualitative nature were analyzed to the light of the content analysis, the data of quantitative nature were treated with resource to the software Microsoft Office Excel 2007 according to the approach of the descriptive statistics.
