O objetivo central da presente dissertação pretende delimitar a legitimidade do crime de omissão de auxílio tipificado no artigo 200.º do código penal português. Por conseguinte e como complemento para o seu entendimento, também teve a necessidade de analisar o conteúdo e a extensão da referida norma.
The main objective of this dissertation corresponds to the legitimacy of the crime of omission of assistance typified in article 200 of the Portuguese penal code, as well as the legal asset - social solidarity - that serves as a basis. And as a complement to his understanding, he also had the need to analyze the content and the extension of the referred rule.
