A Educação Especial é uma variante da Educação que se debruça sobre metodologias de ensino e aprendizagem de crianças, jovens e adultos, com determinadas dificuldades de aprendizagem. Ao longo dos anos - e consoante as dificuldades específicas de cada aluno - estas metodologias têm vindo a ser cada vez mais diversificadas, tendo sido introduzidas nas escolas e salas de aula, tecnologias de informação e comunicação, apelativas e interactivas, que estimulam, facilitam e potenciam a aprendizagem, uma vez que o aluno absorve a informação de forma visual, auditiva e táctil.
Com o aumento do número de alunos com estas características nas escolas e com a sua integração nas salas de aula, os professores de Educação e Educação Especial recorrem a formação extra sobre a utilização de ferramentas educativas que contribuam tanto para a melhoria do seu desempenho profissional, como para a construção de conteúdos educativos que possibilitem uma maior aprendizagem por parte do aluno.
Com este trabalho pretende-se apresentar um plano de formação cuja meta é a melhoria das práticas dos professores de Educação e Educação Especial, utilizando o reforço da tecnologia na diferenciação pedagógica, ou seja, na construção, adaptação e utilização de conteúdos educativos específicos para as características de cada aluno.
Special Education is a very important part of Education that focuses on teaching methodologies and learning of children, young and adults with specific learning difficulties. Over the years - and depending on the specific difficulties of each student - these methodologies have been increasing and introduced in schools and classrooms. As appealing as interactive, information and communication technology, stimulates, facilitates and enhances learning, as the student absorbs the information in a visual, auditory and tactile way. With the increasing number of students with these characteristics in schools and classrooms, Educators and Special Educators resort to extra training on the use of educational tools that helps them improving their professional performance, as well as building educational content to improve student learning. This work aims to present a training program whose goal is to contribute on improving the professional practices of Teachers and Special Education teachers practices, using technology in the enhancement of educational differentiation, or as it means, at the building, adapting and using of educational content to the specific characteristics of each student.
