Resumo(s)
Tendo o tema da Reabilitação Urbana como ponto de partida, este
trabalho procura perceber de que forma esta visão e metodologia de
intervenção influencia o território existente, não só a nível do edificado
em si, mas também a nível das vivências que se vão criando e do
impacto que tem para a organização e desenvolvimento económico do
local e do território em que se insere.
Através da análise de textos de autores e exemplos práticos de
vários períodos e contextos, definem-se estratégias de intervenção, que
serão utilizadas no caso particular de Campolide, em Lisboa, em que
se procura definir estratégias de reabilitação para a zona da
Universidade Nova de Lisboa e do Estabelecimento Prisional ali
existente.
Desta forma, a adaptação dos usos e funções existentes, bem
como o repensar do espaço consolidado, de forma a derrubar barreiras
e otimizar a estrutura funcional do território, aproximando-o da
população que o utiliza, ou poderá vir a utilizar, surge como um ponto
de partida fulcral, que pretende colmatar falhas existentes e tirar partido
das oportunidades presentes.
ABSTRACT: With the theme of Urban Rehabilitation as a starting point, this work seeks to understand how this vision and methodology of intervention influences the existing territory, not only in terms of the architectural building itself, but also at the level of the living experiences and the impact it has on the organization and economic development of the place and of the global territory in which it operates. Through the analysis of texts by authors and practical examples from various periods and contexts, intervention strategies are defined, that will be used in the particular case of Campolide, in Lisbon, in which it seeks to rehabilitate the area of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and the existing prison there. In this way, the adaptation of existing uses and functions, as well as the rethinking of the consolidated space, in order to break down barriers and optimize the functional structure of the territory, bringing it closer to the population that uses it, or that may start using it in the future, appears as an important starting point, which seeks to bridge existing gaps in the territory and takes full advantage of the opportunities present.
