Resumo(s)
O presente trabalho foi elaborado no âmbito do trabalho de
fim de curso do Mestrado Integrado em Arquitetura. A proposta
surge na oportunidade de aprofundar conhecimentos sobre a
Quinta da Ribafria, fazendo um estudo e pesquisa sobre a história
e passado da Quinta, uma análise sobre como esta se encontra
nos dias de hoje e a produção de um projeto para o futuro.
O projeto trata-se da elaboração da proposta de
intervenção na quinta, tendo como objetivo respeitar as
individualidades do lugar tentando dinamizá-lo ao introduzir-lhe
um novo programa. As especificidades da Quinta de Recreio e da
Casa Senhorial foram tidas em consideração na elaboração do
programa, visto que o objetivo era introduzir algo que se integrasse
no pré-existente, quer construído, quer paisagístico.
A criação de um Centro de Artes é então o programa
escolhido como forma de beneficiar com toda a envolvente e
ambiente que Sintra e a Quinta nos proporcionam para inspiração
artística. O centro, além de promover a reabilitação interior e
exterior nos elementos construídos, proporciona também a
elaboração de um projeto de núcleos novos que compreendem as
funcionalidades que não podem ser adaptadas à Casa Senhorial.
ABSTRACT: The present work was elaborated in the scope of the work of end of course of the Integrated Masters in Architecture. The present work was elaborated in the scope of the work Integrated Masters in Architecture’s end of course work. The proposal appears as an opportunity to deepen the knowledge about Quinta da Ribafria, performing a study and research on the history and past of the Quinta, an analysis of how it is nowadays and the production of a project for the future. The project is about the preparation of the intervention proposal on the Quinta, aiming to respect the individualities of the place trying to energize it by introducing a new program. The specificities of a Quinta de Recreio and a Manor House were taken into account in the preparation of the program, since the objective was to introduce something that was integrated into the preexisting, both built and landscaped. The creation of an Arts Centre is therefore the chosen program as a way to benefit from all the artistic inspiration that the surroundings and environment that Sintra and Quinta provide us with artistic inspiration. The centre, besides promoting the interior and exterior rehabilitation of the constructed elements, also provides the elaboration of a project of new nuclei that comprise the functionalities that cannot be adapted to the Manor House.
