A adoção de soluçÔes de InteligĂȘncia Artificial (IA), o seu recente desenvolvimento e implementação, tem vindo a criar perspetivas de mudança profunda no trabalho e no futuro do trabalho.
A presente dissertação pretende explorar os potenciais efeitos da InteligĂȘncia Artificial no futuro do trabalho. Em primeiro lugar, foi realizada uma investigação de carĂĄcter exploratĂłrio atravĂ©s de um focus group, onde estiveram presentes peritos na ĂĄrea da tecnologia e sistemas de informação e que decorreu no Instituto Superior de Economia e GestĂŁo (ISEG) da Universidade de Lisboa (UL). Esta investigação teve como principal foco elencar potenciais efeitos que a IA poderĂĄ ter no futuro do trabalho, bem como classificĂĄ-los consoante a sua probabilidade, imediatismo e relevĂąncia dos acontecimentos.
Após a sessão focus group, foi desenvolvido um questionårio, de caråcter exploratório e aberto, que teve como objetivo entender a opinião da amostra em relação ao tema e se confirma os resultados obtidos em focus group. O mesmo recolheu um total de 207 respostas vålidas. Os resultados do estudo mostram que, em geral, a perceção dos inquiridos sobre os potenciais impactos que a IA poderå ter no futuro do trabalho confirmam os resultados obtidos em sede de focus group.
Os dois estudos realizados indicam que a InteligĂȘncia Artificial (IA) poderĂĄ ter profundos efeitos no futuro do trabalho em vĂĄrias dimensĂ”es e de uma forma gradual.
The adoption of AI solutions, their recent development and implementation, has created prospects for profound change in work and the future of work. This dissertation aims to explore the potential effects of Artificial Intelligence on the future of work. Firstly, an exploratory research was carried out through a focus group, attended by experts in the area of technology and information systems, which took place at the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon. The main focus of this research was to list potential effects that AI may have on the future of the work, as well as to classify them according to their probability, immediacy and relevance of the events. After the focus group session, an exploratory and open questionnaire was developed, which aimed to understand the opinion of the sample regarding the theme and confirms the results obtained in focus group. It collected a total of 207 valid responses. The study results show that, in general, respondents' perceptions of the potential impacts that AI may have on the future of the work confirm the results obtained in focus group. Both studies indicate that Artificial Intelligence (AI) may have profound effects on the future of work in various dimensions and gradually.
