O presente estudo tem como principal objetivo analisar a relação entre off-TAJD e o Bem-
Estar dos colaboradores – burnout e engagement – assim como explorar a relação entre
off-TAJD e o burnout, analisando o papel mediador do CTF e explorar a relação entre off-
TAJD e o engagement, analisando o papel mediador do ETF na relação entre as duas. No
total foram analisadas 338 respostas de colaboradores de uma empresa de serviços a
operar em Portugal, não sendo corroboradas as hipóteses em estudo. Os resultados
evidenciam que as off-TAJD se relacionam positivamente com o engagement, e apresenta
uma relação indireta com o burnout, só havendo relação aquando da presença do conflito
trabalho-família. Mais, a relação entre off-TAJD e engagement é fortalecida aquando da
presença do enriquecimento trabalho-família. Os resultados alcançados contribuem para
a literatura ao fornecerem uma nova perspetiva nos efeitos positivos das off-TAJD e nas
suas implicações no Bem-Estar dos indivíduos, bem como no Balanço Trabalho-Família,
tendo como modelo a Teoria de Conservação de Recursos. Também as implicações
praticas, limitações e sugestões para estudos futuros são apresentadas.
The aim of the present study is to analyse the relation between off-TAJD and the wellbeing – burnout and engagement - of employees, as well as analyse the relation between off-TAJD and burnout and the mediator role of work-to-family conflict (WFC) and analyse de relation between off-TAJD and engagement and the mediator role of work-tofamily enrichment (WTE). A total of 338 answers were analysed from a services company in Portugal, and the hypothesis were not corroborated. The results showcase the positive relation between off-TAJD and engagement and an indirect relation between off-TAJD and burnout, that only exists when WFC is present. Furthermore, the relation between off-TAJD and engagement is stronger when WTE is present. The results contribute to the literature by allowing a better understanding on the positive effects of the off-TAJD on the employees well-being and work-to-family balance, using the Conservation of Resources Theory as framework. Some practical implications, limitations and suggestions for future studies are also presented.
