Based in the career construction theory, the present study aims to analyze Erasmus mobilityâs differential impact on peopleâs career adaptability, dispositional employability and soft skills, in addition to investigating if these aspects differ between students and recent graduates. The focus is also on analyzing the relationship between the three variables. With this in mind, data was collected through a survey that encompassed the Career AdaptAbilities Scale (CAAS) â Portugal Form, the Dispositional Measure of Employability (Portuguese form) and the soft skills scale of the Current and Future Business Graduate Competencies (Portuguese form) to 77 university students and 14 recent graduates. Of the 91 participants, 35 were involved in the Erasmus program. The results show that the three variables are positively and significantly related to each other, as well as that individuals who went on Erasmus give a greater importance to the role of soft skills on the integration of graduates in the job market. Practical contributions and limitations of this study are discussed at the end. Future lines of investigation are also proposed.
