Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho propõe lançar pistas para um discurso crítico, objectivado sobre o caminho seguido na reabilitação reiterada do edificado histórico de valor patrimonial, adoptando uma perspectiva capaz de reverter a tendência museológica que condena lugares do interior de Portugal, como Évora Monte, a tornarem-se espaços turísticos monotemáticos, como receituário exclusivo para redimir os casos em relativa condição de abandono.
Torna-se então pertinente reflectir sobre a possibilidade de regresso a uma vivência plena em contexto rural, convocando a herança patrimonial sobretudo como suporte cultural e social locais, em conjugação com práticas revistas de sustentabilidade.
A revitalização atípica de Évora Monte materializa assim uma hipótese de permanência das pessoas no lugar, através do projecto de um conjunto de tipologias habitacionais de carácter rural e de um dispositivo de apoio comunitário complementar, reclamando a possibilidade de inclusão de uma componente agrícola como catalisador para a produção da arquitectura.
The present work proposes to launch evidence for a critic debate, objectified on the path for reiterated rehabilitation of the historic building with patrimonial value, embracing a perspective capable of reverting the museological trend which condemns places, such as Évora Monte, to become monothematic tourism spaces, as exclusive prescription to redeem cases in relative condition of abandonment. It becomes pertinent to reflect on the possibility of return to a full experience in rural context, summoning patrimonial heritage mainly as cultural and social local support, in conjugation with reviewed sustainable practices. The atypical revitalization of Évora Monte materializes a hypothesis of people permanence in place, through project of a set of housing typologies with rural character and a device for complementary communitarian support, claiming the possibility of inclusion of an agricultural component as catalyzer for architecture production.
