O presente relatório de estágio reflete o percurso desenvolvido no Serviço de Mediação e Educação
(SME), um dos departamentos da Direção de Património Cultural do Sport Lisboa e Benfica. Este
trabalho insere-se no âmbito do 2.º Ciclo de estudos conducente ao grau de Mestre em Educação e
Formação, com especialização em Organização e Gestão da Educação e Formação, do Instituto de
Educação da Universidade de Lisboa. Com o título “Conceção, Desenvolvimento e Avaliação da
Programação do Museu Benfica - Cosme Damião”, pretendo explorar as três fases que compõem o
processo de planeamento das atividades educativas que constituem a programação deste museu
desportivo. Para isso, constituo este relatório em três capítulos. O primeiro diz respeito à
contextualização teórica do tema em duas grandes áreas: a relação entre museus e educação não
formal e a conceção, desenvolvimento e avaliação de ações educativas. No segundo capítulo apresento
o projeto de investigação com os objetivos de estudo, as orientações metod ológicas e por fim, a análise
de resultados. O terceiro e último capítulo refere-se à caracterização organizacional da instituição onde
desenvolvi o estágio e à reflexão das atividades e tarefas que concretizei nesse período. A nível
metodológico, este trabalho é de cariz qualitativo e para o construir, recorri às seguintes técnicas de
recolha de dados: à pesquisa documental, útil para a contextualização teórica do tema; à observação
participante e à entrevista semidiretiva para a recolha de toda a informação necessária quanto à
programação do Museu e à estrutura organizacional da instituição. A realização do estágio e posterior
relatório foi crucial para a aquisição de determinados conhecimentos sobre o valor educativo que as
instituições museológicas suportam. É através das ações educativas que os museus desempenham a sua
função de educar e para tal é importante que estas sejam planeadas de acordo com os três fatores que
constituem o plano de uma ação educativa.
This report aims to analysis the progress developed during the internships at the Mediation and Educational Services, one of the departments that belong to the Cultural Herita ge Direction of Sport Lisboa e Benfica. This assignment is part of the internship curriculum and its conclusion is necessary to obtain the master's degree in Education and Training, with specialization in Organization and Management of Education and Training at Instituto de Educação of Universidade de Lisboa. The title “Design, Development and Evaluation of the Museu Benfica - Cosme Damião program”, intend to explore the three phases that integrate the planning process of this sports museum educational activities. As a result this report is divided into three chapters. The first one explains the theoretical contextualization of the theme in two major areas: the relationship between museums and non -formal education; and the design, development and evaluation of educational strategies. The second chapter explains the research project demonstrating its goals the methodological guidelines and, finally, the analysis of the results. The third and last chapter illustrates the organizational characterization of the institution where the internship occurred and reflects upon the activities and tasks that I accomplished during the period. At a methodological level, this assignment has a qualitative nature and to create it the following data techniques were used: content analysis useful for the theoretical context of the theme; participant observation and semi-structured interview to collect the necessary information regarding the Museum’s program and the institution’s organizational structure. Completing the internship and the report was a crucial step to obtain the specific knowledge regarding the educational value that museological institutions carry. It is through educational strategies that museums fulfil their purpose of educating and for that it is important that th ese are planned according to the three factors that constitute the plan of an educational action.
