O presente relatório enquadra-se no Ramo de Aprofundamento das Competências Profissionais, do segundo ano do Mestrado em Reabilitação Psicomotora, da Faculdade de Motricidade Humana – Universidade de Lisboa, referente à atividade de estágio desenvolvida no Centro Doutor João dos Santos – Casa da Praia. A intervenção inserese na vertente de Saúde Mental Infantil, apoiando crianças com idades entre os 5 e os 12 anos que apresentem problemas de foro emocional, trazendo consequências ao nível das aprendizagens e do comportamento, verificando-se bloqueio na capacidade de comunicar, imaginar, pensar ou ação. A metodologia utilizada como meio de intervenção é a Pedagogia Terapêutica, tendo uma visão holística da criança, dando ênfase ao trabalho em grupo e à relação, criando um espaço contentor e securizante, de forma a organizar e resolver conflitos internos, adquirindo os pré-requisitos, a motivação e interesse nas aprendizagens. A psicomotricidade nesta instituição integra-se nesta dinâmica, juntando a vertente pedagógica e a terapêutica, em contexto individual ou de grupo. Assim, em intervenção psicomotora foram apoiadas 5 crianças, com idades compreendidas entre os 9 e os 10 anos, em sessões de 60 minutos, semanalmente
This report is part of the Professional Skills Development Branch of the second year Master´s Degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation, from Faculdade de Motricidade Humana – Universidade de Lisboa, and refers to the activities from the internship activities carried out at the Centro Doutor João dos Santos – Casa da Praia. The intervention falls under the scope of Children´s Mental Health, supporting children between ages of 5 and 12 with emotional problems, that brings consequences on their learning skills and behavior which consequently are transposed by blocking of the capacities to communicate, to imagine, thought or to act. The methodology used as an intervention is the Therapeutic Pedagogy, who have a holistic view of the child, which privileges work group and based on the relationship, and give them a trustable and reassuring space, so that they can organize and resolve internal conflicts, developing the prerequisites, motivation and interest in leraning. The psychomotricity in this institution is integrated in this dynamic, joining the pedagogical and therapeutic side, in Centro Doutor João dos Santos – Casa da Praia Psicomotricidade em Saúde Mental Infantil individual or group context. Thus, in psychomotor intervention, were supported 5 children, aged between 9 and 10 years, in 60 minute sessions, weekly.
