Resumo(s)
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of global warming on the banking system. My work consists of a current screenshot of economy, in the light of recent major climate changes. Along its five chapters, I describe how global warming has increasingly exercised its influence on banking policy. I have tried to cover both physical and transition risks as well as climate stress-testing done in France, UK and by European Central Bank. In the end I discuss Sustainable Finance and ESG performance as well as highlighted crucial strategies for the future agenda. The main conclusion driven from my case study is that ESG is an increasing factor for firms and investors in the last years.
