Resumo(s)
O presente Projeto Final de Mestrado consiste na valorização e
requalificação de territórios suburbanos, no caso específico da
Tapada das Mercês. A partir de uma breve reflexão teórica sobre
a noção do território suburbano, tomando como referência a
AML, aborda-se o papel da participação na qualificação destes
territórios. A proposta de intervenção visa introduzir o valor e
sentido de urbanidade ao território da Tapada das Mercês, através
da participação dos habitantes na concepção de espaços abertos,
livres e representativos da comunidade e através da valorização,
requalificação e regeneração do espaço público. A proposta é
desenhada à escala urbana, da rua e do edifício, tendo por base o
valor e sentido urbano dos territórios.
ABSTRACT: This final Master’s project deepens the appreciation and requalification of suburban territories (in the specific case of Tapada das Mercês). It is understood that the key to this work is to introduce the value and sense of urbanity to the territories. This work is done, in part, through the participation of the inhabitants in the development and construction of open spaces, free and representative of the present community. This work is also done, partly, through appreciation, re-qualification and regeneration of the public space. Therefore, it is designed a project defined on the urban scale, the street and the building, based on the value and urban sense of the territories.
