Nos últimos anos tem crescido o
interesse em tratar o conhecimento
como um importante recurso
organizacional. Consistente com o
interesse em conhecimento
organizacional e gestão do
conhecimento, optou-se pela
realização de um estudo de caso
numa instituição financeira activa no
mercado português, para avaliar em
que medida se reflectem na prática,
assumidamente ou não, algumas
formas e procedimentos de GC
descritas na literatura.
Pretende-se verificar como é que a
instituição gere o seu conhecimento
ao mesmo tempo que se pretendem
identificar os sistemas e tecnologias
de informação mais preponderantes
na GC. Constitui o último objectivo
deste estudo identificar e avaliar as
características dos sistemas de
informação que contribuem para o
seu sucesso quando aplicados a
iniciativas de GC.
Over the past few years there has been a growing interest on treating knowledge as a significant organizational resource. Consistent with the interest in organizational knowledge and Knowledge Management, we chose to do a study case in a Portuguese financial institute, in order to evaluate on what extent some KM procedures, described in literature, are used or not in current practice. We also intend to verify how the organization manages its knowledge as we identify the main information systems in KM. At last we are going to identify and evaluate the information systems characteristics that contribute for the success of the information systems when applied to KM initiatives.
