O presente projeto final de mestrado consiste num plano de negócios que apresenta a Villa Aurora, uma iniciativa de turismo sustentável localizada na região do Douro, Portugal, que se foca no conceito de slow tourism. A Villa Aurora visa proporcionar uma experiência de turismo rural autêntica e ecológica, integrando arquitetura tradicional com conforto moderno e práticas sustentáveis, como o uso de energias renováveis e materiais ecológicos. O projeto está alinhado com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável das Nações Unidas, com foco na promoção da igualdade de género, energias renováveis, trabalho digno, consumo sustentável, ecossistemas e biodiversidade. As projeções financeiras demonstram a viabilidade deste projeto, com um VAL positivo de 41 180€ e uma TIR de 12,7%, tornando-o um empreendimento atrativo de turismo ecológico no espaço rural. A missão da Villa Aurora é ser um exemplo de turismo responsável, promovendo a harmonia entre o desenvolvimento económico, a preservação ambiental e a comunidade local.
This final master's project consists of a business plan that presents Villa Aurora, a sustainable tourism initiative located in the Douro region, Portugal, which focuses on the concept of slow tourism. Villa Aurora aims to provide an authentic and eco-friendly rural tourism experience, integrating traditional architecture with modern comfort and sustainable practices, such as the use of renewable energy and eco-friendly materials. The project is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on promoting gender equality, renewable energy, decent work, sustainable consumption, ecosystems and biodiversity. The financial projections demonstrate the viability of this project, with a positive NPV of €41,180 and an IRR of 12.7%, making it an attractive ecological tourism venture in rural areas. Villa Aurora's mission is to be an example of responsible tourism, promoting harmony between economic development, environmental preservation and the local community.
