This article reports the results of a survey sent to 52 Filipino social workers to measure the level of their work-related quality of life (WRQOL). The results show that professionals who work in the private sector have a higher level of WRQOL than those who work in the government, and more autonomy in decision-making. Professionals with regular or permanent positions have also a higher level of WRQOL than those who work on contractual basis whether in the public or private sector. We conclude that work-related quality varies between the status of employment, stability in the workplace and professional autonomy.
