Embora o impacto da Teoria Feminista e de Género em Arqueologia remonte ao final dos anos ’70 do século XX, o interesse pela análise do papel da mulher e das relações de género no Passado tem permanecido largamente marginal na investigação arqueológica portuguesa. Em vista de uma desejável consolidação
desse interesse, recolhem-se algumas reflexões críticas sobre as possíveis vias de desenvolvimento de futuras linhas de investigação enquadráveis na Arqueologia Feminista e de Género em Portugal.
Despite the already consolidated impact of Feminist and Gender Theory in archaeological thought, which dates back to the late 1970s, the interest in the analysis of the role of Women and gender relations in the Past has remained largely marginal in Portuguese archaeological research. In view of the desirable consolidation of such an approach this contribution collects some reflections on the possible ways of development for future research lines within the framework of Feminist and Gender Archaeology in Portugal.
