O presente trabalho de projecto, desenvolvido no domínio do Mestrado em Ciências da Educação/Formação de Adultos, baseia-se na análise do processo de Reconhecimento, Validação e Certificação de Competências de um Centro Novas Oportunidades (CNO), da área da Grande Lisboa, durante os anos civis de 2010 e 2011. O trabalho de projecto apresentado tem três dimensões, uma narrativa biográfica, um enquadramento teórico e uma incursão empírica.
A narrativa biográfica centra-se na análise reflexiva da minha experiência profissional, através da identificação dos momentos chave que contribuíram para a minha aprendizagem como formadora e profissional de Reconhecimento e Validação de Competências.
Para enquadrar conceptualmente o meu percurso profissional e a incursão empírica, tentou-se construir um quadro teórico centrado no campo da educação e formação de adultos.
Na incursão empírica procura-se caracterizar e analisar a dinâmica de um processo de reconhecimento e validação de competências realizado num Centro Novas Oportunidades, através da recolha de elementos documentais, de questionários entregues a adultos certificados, bem como dados fornecidas pela plataforma Sistema de Informação e Gestão da Oferta Educativa e Formativa.
The present Project work is developed in scope of the Educational Sciences/Adult Education and it is based on a study case on the analyses of the practices in the process of Recognition, Validation and Certification of Long Life Acquired Competences, at the Centre of New Opportunities of the area of the Lisbon region throughout the years 2010 and 2011. This project work aims at analyzing the existent practices under the perspective of a continual improvement. It includes the reflexive analysis of my own professional experience through the identification of the key moments that contributed to my experience as a preceptor and professional of Recognition and Validation of Competences. In order to contextualize the problematic issue behind this project there was an attempt to build a theoretical picture to synthesize the field of education and formation of adults at an historical level as well as its theoretical evolution. This empirical study is based on the gathering of documentary elements, on the handling of questionnaires to the certified adults and on the data made available by the cyber link Information and Management System of the Educational and Formative Offer.
