This work begins by addressing the themes âMemory, Landscape and Pathâ, which link parts of the heritage of the Lines of Torres Vedras, its territory, places, and its relationship with history and with Man. It covers the valorization and requalification of spaces and monuments lost in time. It focuses on the telegraph poles of the Defensive System, as well as on the points of view and visual crossings, requalifying the connection between the Serra de Chipre and the Serra do Socorro, also passing through the Fortes Grande and Pequeno da Enxara. It leads us to understand the importance of heritage, and how it defines society, as well as the places that welcome it. It refers to learning not only about its history, but also how architecture can revalue it. With this, the project strategy starts, connecting points and places through small interventions and the rehabilitation of objects and places loaded with memory, of military architecture, which lead to the endless landscapes of a territory marked by mountains and valleys, and horizons designed by mills and forts, from the river to the sea. Thus, architectural objects are related, with their small scale, to a territorial scale, linking Man to the place, and transforming his sensory experience through paths and a tourist program, giving a new dynamic not only to the territory and to their settlements, but also activating their unique culture of the region and the points of heritage interest, preserving them and adding qualities, apparently nonexistent, but always present, only hidden, revealing their recovered identity.
