Introduction: The pseudo-papillary solid tumor of the pancreas is a rare neoplasm of low malignancy, with a higher prevalence in young women. The objective of this study is to relate the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of the cases diagnosed at Garcia de Orta Hospital with the literature that focuses on this neoplasm. Methods: A retrospective review of the TSPP cases confirmed at the referred hospital and a literature review was conducted based on a survey using Medline and EMBASE. English and Portuguese literature from 1961 to 2015 were included. Entire abstract and full text of all the literature was thoroughly interpreted. Results: Three of the patients had abdominal pain as the initial symptomatology; the tumors size ranged from 2.9cm to 13cm. Two of the patients underwent minimally resection surgeries, the other two underwent duodenopancreatectomy and distal pancreactectomy with splenectomy Conclusion: The four patients presented clinical and epidemiological characteristics consistent with the literature on the subject
