As caracteristicas do trabalho e o conflito trabalho-família : um estudo com militares da marinha

O presente estudo pretende investigar a relação das Características do Trabalho - Exigências, Autonomia, Suporte dos Colegas e Suporte do Supervisor - com o Conflito Trabalho-Família nos militares da Marinha Portuguesa. Para a população investigada (n=274), os resultados obtidos permitiram verificar que as Exigências têm uma relação positiva significativa com o Conflito Trabalho-Família, enquanto que a Autonomia e o Suporte, tanto dos colegas como do chefe, tem uma relação significa negativa com o Conflito Trabalho-Família. Desta forma, o estudo veio reforçar a ideia que as Características do Trabalho são, de facto, um factor bastante importante e fundamental para a criação de uma relação saudável entre o emprego e a família.
This study aims to investigate the relationship between Job Characteristics – Demands, Control, Coworkers Support and Supervisor Support – and Work Family-Conflict in Portuguese Navy militar. For the population studied (n=274), the results obtained showed that the Demands have a significant and positive relationship with Work-Family Conflict, while the Control and the Sopport of both coworkers and supervisor has a negative relationship with the Work-Family Conflict. Thus, the study reinforced the idea that the work of the Job Characteristics are indeed a very importante and fundamental factor for the creation of a healthy relationship between the job and the family.
