Abstract(s)
The self-concept of early childhood educators is important in Angola, but the demand and supply of nursery schools require reflection and support. In this research, we used the Teacher Self-Concept Evaluation Scale (TSCES) and the Professional Self-Concept of Teachers Scale (APP). The validation procedure of the resulting scales, called the Self-Concept Assessment Scale for Childhood Educators 1 (EAA-EI1) and the Self-Concept Assessment Scale for Childhood Educators 2 (EAA-EI2), is presented here after being applied to 198 educators in effective service. We highlight EAA-EI1 with a total variance of 44.34%. In EAA-EI2, the total variance explained was 41.54%.
