Abstract(s)
O habitar é uma das necessidades básicas do ser humano. Criar e modificar o espaço para sua habitação são relações de anos de evolução. As primeiras edificações eram formuladas com base na necessidade de proteção principalmente contra as intempéries. Entretanto, a evolução da sociedade junto as alterações do modo de edificar e de relacionar-se com o seu habitar também foram alterados. No Brasil, os povos indígenas sofreram um forte contraste cultural do seculo XVI ao seculo XXI. Neste período, as novas necessidades, o contexto socioeconómico e a relação com suas tradições foram fortemente alteradas pelo contato com os povos não-indígenas que acabaram por influenciar o modo de habitar de vários grupos.
A Reserva Indígena de Dourados (RID) localizada na região Centro-Oeste do Brasil é um exemplo claro de como a relação entre diferentes culturas levaram a uma alteração na tradição do habitar dos povos Kaiowá, Guarani e Terena.
A edificação é uma das formas de se transmitir a cultura e a tradição de um povo. Por isso o modo de habitar e de se relacionar com sua residência caracteriza diferentes populações. A busca da relação dos povos indígenas da RID com seu tekoha é o desafio deste trabalho.
ABSTRACT: The dwelling is one of the basic human needs. Create and modify the space for your dwelling are relationships of years of evolution. The first buildings were mainly formulated based on the necessity of protection against the whether. However, the evolution of society along with changes in the way of building and relating to its dwelling have also been altered. In Brazil, indigenous peoples suffered a strong cultural contrast from the 16th to the 21st centuries. In this period, the new needs, the socio-economic context and the relation with their traditions were strongly altered by the contact with the non-indigenous peoples that ended up influencing the way of inhabiting various groups. The Dourados Indigenous Reserve (DIR) located in the middle west region of Brazil is a clear example of how the relationship between different cultures led to a change in the tradition of inhabiting the Kaiowá, Guarani and Terena peoples. The building is one of the ways to transmit the culture and tradition of a people. That is why the way of living and of relating to their residence characterizes different populations. The search for the relationship of the indigenous peoples of the DIR with their tekoha is the challenge of this work.
