A aceleração da globalização trouxe maior atenção às diferentes culturas e formas
de pensar, levando às organizações a adotas normas de inclusão. A inclusão neste sentido,
tornou-se essencial para lidar com as diferentes crenças e culturas presentes nas
organizações. Assim, a Liderança Inclusiva desempenha um papel fundamental, visto
serem os responsáveis em promoverem e implementarem a inclusão nas equipas e por
conseguinte, serem influenciadores da Felicidade no Local de Trabalho e promoção do
Desempenho da Equipa.
O presente estudo tem como objetivo entender o impacto da Liderança Inclusiva
na Felicidade no Local de Trabalho e no Desempenho da Equipa, sendo também
considerado o Capital Psicológico como efeito mediador nessas relações. Para isso,
recorreu-se a um questionário online a 230 pessoas que trabalham em diferentes setores
profissionais. Com base nos resultados, entende-se que a Liderança Inclusiva tem uma
influência positiva e significativa na Felicidade no Local de Trabalho e no Desempenho.
Para além disso, este estilo de liderança fomenta também o Capital Psicológico de cada
indivíduo. No que toca a influência que a Felicidade no Local de Trabalho exerce no
Desempenho da Equipa, as hipóteses não foram suportadas. Já em relação ao impacto do
Capital Psicológico na Felicidade no Local de Trabalho e no Desempenho da Equipa, este
apresentou sempre uma influência positiva e significativa. Por fim, foram apresentadas
as contribuições teóricas e práticas dos resultados atingidos, além das limitações e estudos
futuros.
The acceleration of globalization has brought greater attention to different cultures and ways of thinking, leading organizations to adopt norms of inclusion. In this sense, inclusion has become essential in order to deal with the different beliefs and cultures present in organizations. Thus, Inclusive Leadership plays a fundamental role, since they are responsible for promoting and implementing inclusion in teams and, therefore, being influencers of Happiness in the Workplace and the promotion of Team Performance. The aim of this study is to understand the impact of Inclusive Leadership on Happiness in the Workplace and Team Performance, also considering Psychological Capital as a mediating effect in these relationships. To this end, an online questionnaire was sent to 230 people working in different professional sectors. The results show that Inclusive Leadership has a positive and significant influence on Workplace Happiness and Performance. In addition, this leadership style also fosters everyone’s Psychological Capital. Regarding the influence that Happiness in the Workplace has on Team Performance, the hypotheses were not supported. Regard to the impact of Psychological Capital on Happiness in the Workplace and Team Performance, it was also found to have a positive influence. As a mediating aspect between Inclusive Leadership and Happiness in the Workplace and Team Performance, it had a positive influence, improving its influence on the model. Finally, the theoretical and practical contributions of the results achieved were presented, as well as the limitations and future studies.
