Este relatório tem como objectivo descrever e analisar criticamente a Iniciação à Prática
Profissional IV da disciplina de educação visual desenvolvida na Escola Secundária Marquês
de Pombal durante sete meses e no âmbito da Prática de Ensino supervisionada.
Após uma breve fundamentação teórica, descrição da instituição de acolhimento e dos alunos
que a frequentam, desenvolve-se uma análise mais alargada das estratégias e do projecto
desenvolvido na sala de aula, bem como uma reflexão crítica das escolhas adoptadas. A
temática da utilização de uma aprendizagem criativa através do auto-retrato como factor de
motivação para a aprendizagem de educação visual originou um pequeno estudo que tem por
objectivo, através da descrição de algumas das experiências vivenciadas, demonstrar a
valiosa utilidade desta ferramenta no ensino - aprendizagem de educação visual.
This report aims to describe and critically examine the initiation of professional practice of visual education teaching, developed in Marquês de Pombal High School during seven months and under supervised Teaching Practice. After a brief theoretical background, a description of the host institution, and of the students who attended the class, the report develops an encompassing analysis of the project and strategies developed in the classroom as well as a critical reflection of the decisions adopted. The main subject was the use of creative learning through self-portrait as a promoter of motivation for learning visual education. This approach generated a study that aims, through the experiences description, the demonstration of this valuable tool in the teaching and learning of visual education.
