O relatório retrata o trabalho desenvolvido ao longo do estágio curricular, inserido no Ramo de Aprofundamento de Competências Profissionais do Mestrado em Reabilitação Psicomotora, realizado no Centro de Atividades Ocupacionais (CAO) do Centro de Educação para o Cidadão com Deficiência (C.E.C.D.). O estágio teve aproximadamente a duração de oito meses tendo como população-alvo adultos com Dificuldades Intelectuais e Desenvolvimentais (DID). Durante o estágio o estagiário teve a possibilidade de participar em diversas vivências institucionais e também de realizar Terapia Psicomotora, em contexto de ginásio, Atividade Motora Adaptada, Meio Aquático e Equitação Terapêutica. O objetivo principal da intervenção focou-se na manutenção de competências psicomotoras, tendo em vista a melhoria da qualidade de vida das mesmas. No presente relatório inicialmente será apresentado um enquadramento da prática profissional, fazendo uma caracterização da instituição, população-alvo e sobre alguns aspetos inerentes ao estágio. Posteriormente serão apresentadas as etapas do estágio, a descrição dos grupos de intervenção, planos, resultados e dificuldades sentidas. Na parte final do relatório será apresentada uma reflexão final sobre as aprendizagens feitas durante o estágio.
The report describes the work developed during the curricular internship, which was part of the Master's Degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation, carried out at the the Occupational Activities Center (OAC) of the Center for Education for the Citizen with Disability (C.E.C.D.). The internship lasted approximately eight months, with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) as the target population. During the internship the trainee had the possibility to participate in several institutional experiences and also to perform Psychomotor Therapy, in the context of gymnasium, Adaptive Physical, Aquatic Environment and Therapeutic Riding. The main objective of the intervention is to maintain psychomotor skills, aiming at improving their quality of life. This report will initially present a framework of professional practice, making a characterization of the institution, target population and some aspects inherent to the internship. Afterwards, the stages of the internship will be presented, a description of the intervention groups, plans, results and difficulties experienced. In the final part of the report will be presented a final reflection on the learning made during the internship.
