Abstract(s)
The present dissertation focuses on the theme “Contemporary Artistic Jewelry and Curatorial Practices” in order to investigate the Portuguese contemporary artistic jewelry for greater social awareness of the gaps in this field of the arts. This dissertation is based on research on contemporary artistic jewelry since the 60s, the years of the rupture of aesthetic ideas in the field of contemporary artistic jewelry. The research also focuses on curatorial practices in this niche, sending a message of enticement for new tools to support curatorship, specifically through an app project. The production of documentation was created by gathering information, including testimony from inquiries.
