Perceção da inserção profissional em estudantes de dança

Este estudo procurou explorar as perceções que os estudantes de dança têm sobre a inserção profissional nesta área de trabalho artístico. Utilizou-se o método qualitativo, tendo por base um guião de entrevista sobre a perceção da inserção profissional na área das artes, estruturou-se um guião de entrevista sobre a perceção da inserção profissional na área da dança. Este guião permitiu orientar a entrevista para as caraterísticas demográficas dos participantes e para a sua perceção: da inserção profissional em geral; das condições daquela inserção; das caraterísticas pessoais que lhe são relevantes; do envolvimento e comportamentos nela implicados; e dos resultantes psicológicos daquela inserção.
Participaram no estudo 16 estudantes do ensino superior politécnico de dança.
Os dados foram tratados através de uma análise de conteúdo temática de tipo intermédio, com recurso ao método dos juízes para validação, à qual se seguiu a exploração da frequência relativa de cada categoria encontrada.
A análise permitiu diferenciar uma variedade de perceções sobre os seguintes componentes da inserção profissional na área da dança: oportunidade de inserção; modalidade de trabalho; remuneração e estabilidade do trabalho; fatores de inserção; caraterísticas físicas, atitudinais, cognitivas, interpessoais e de aprendizagem relevantes param a inserção; motivação para inserção; estratégias pessoais e sociais de inserção; consequências da inserção no bem-estar e na identidade.
This study sought to explore the perceptions that dance students have about the professional insertion in this area of artistic work. Using the qualitative method, based on an interview script about the perception of the professional insertion in the area of the arts, an interview script was structured to understand the perception of the professional insertion in the dance context. This script allowed to guide an interview for the demographic characteristics of the participants and for their perception of: the geral professional insertion; the conditions of that insertion; the perception of what personal characteristics are more importante to that perception; the involvement and behaviors involved; and psychological outcomes of that insertion. In this study 16 students of polytechnic higher education of dance participated. The data were treated through an intermediate type thematic content analysis, using the inter-judge method for validation, followed by an exploration of the frequency of each found category. The analysis allowed to differentiate a variety of perceptions on the following components of professional insertion in the area of dance: opportunity of insertion; modality of work; payment and stability of work; insertion factors; physical, attitudinal, cognitive, interpersonal and learning characteristics relevant for the insertion; motivation for insertion; personal and social insertion strategies; and consequences of insertion into well-being and identity.
