Based on the proposal for a critical research laboratory in communication design, we propose a theoretical and projectual model acting in the various extensions of design in the context of the network culture. Assuming that the network culture is the exponent of contemporary communication, this paper seeks to examine the extent in which transdisciplinarity contributes to the widening of the field of action and research of communication design
