Abstract(s)
A visível incapacidade de se conciliar competição empresarial com as demais vertentes
circunscritas pela justiça social, eficácia económica, prevenção ambiental, democracia política e
diversidade cultural, resultado da crescente evolução das tecnologias de informação e
comunicação e consequentes efeitos da globalização verificados nos últimos anos, promove o
aumento da pobreza e das desigualdades sociais — aumento risco social —, através de processos
por vezes muito complexos de ruptura dos equilíbrios sociais à escala local.
Sendo crítico o cenário do (des)emprego e da pobreza, os conceitos e aplicabilidades de
segurança social e acção social ganham evidentes realces no âmbito da protecção dos grupos
sociais mais vulneráveis. Deste modo, considerando a importância dos serviços sociais, em
especial o da acção social, o presente trabalho, visa: 1. analisar os propósitos dos serviços sociais
protagonizados pelas Instituições Particulares de Solidariedade Social ( IPSS), enquanto parte
integrante dos sistemas de segurança social; 2. entender o actual contexto socioeconómico e suas
implicações no âmbito do (des)emprego, pobreza e exclusão social; e, 3. através de um estudo de
caso, perceber se as actuais respostas protagonizadas pelas 1PSS se encontram adequadas às
actuais necessidades dos seus utentes.
The visible incapacity of conciliating enterprise competition with the excessively flowing circumscribed ones for social justice, economic effectiveness, ambient prevention, democracy politics and cultural diversity, result of lhe crescent evolution of lhe technologies of information and communication and consequents effects of lhe globalization verified in the last years, promote the increase of lhe poverty and lhe social inequalities - increase social risk through processes for very complex of rupture of the social balances to the local scale. Considering critical scene of (un)employment and poverty, the concept and applicability of social security and social share gain evidences emphasis in the scope of lhe protection of the more vulnerable social groups. In this way, considering the importance of the social services, in special of the social share, the present work, it aims ai: 1. to analyze the intentions of the social services carried out by lhe Particular Institutions of Social Solidarily (IPSS), while it has left integrant of the systems of social security; 2. to understand the current context, and is implications socioeconomic, in the scope of poverty and social exclusion; and, 3. through a study of case, to perceive if the present answers carried out for the IPSS find adequate to the presents necessities of is users.
