Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação de mestrado tem como tema principal a coleção de
desenhos do artista António Augusto Lagoa Henriques (27/12/1923 - 21/02/2009) que se
encontra na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, centrado nos
“Desenhos sobre as Mesas”. Assenta, particularmente, no estudo, na inventariação, na
catalogação, na integração das obras na Reserva de Desenho da Faculdade de Belas-Artes
da Universidade de Lisboa e, por último, na sua divulgação. Para se contribuir para a
preservação dos desenhos em acervo serão apresentadas diversas questões relativas à
Conservação Preventiva dos mesmos.
O primeiro objetivo desta dissertação consiste numa abordagem da vida e da obra
do artista. Este primeiro capítulo visa dar a conhecer o artista pormenorizadamente de
forma a se melhor se compreender a obra mais à frente apresentada.
No capítulo seguinte, com o auxílio de um modelo de ficha de inventário, criado
por nós, serão apresentadas as 342 obras que constituem o objeto de estudo desta
dissertação.
Seguidamente, e de modo a integrar as obras de Lagoa Henriques no Legado
Lagoa Henriques da Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, de acordo com
as normas referidas foram postos em prática diferentes processos de acondicionamento
que são devidamente descritos.
Por fim, tendo realizado o acondicionamento das obras, na Reserva de Desenho
da Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, apresentam-se as
recomendações de conservação preventiva direcionadas para este espaço.
The main theme of this master's thesis is the collection of drawings by the artist António Augusto Lagoa Henriques (27/12/1923 - 21/02/2009), stored at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, centered on “Desenhos Sobre as Mesas” (Drawings Over the Tables). It is based on the study, inventory, cataloguing, integration of the works in the Drawing Storage room of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and, finally, on their dissemination. To contribute to the preservation of the drawings in the collection, several issues related to Preventive Conservation are presented. The first objective of this thesis consists of an approach to the life and work of the artist in detail in order to better understand the work presented as follows. In the following chapter, with the aid of a model inventory sheet, created by us, the 342 sketches that constitute the object of study of this dissertation are presented. Subsequently, and, in order to integrate the works of art by Lagoa Henriques in the Legado Lagoa Henriques da Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa and to be in accordance with the standards presented above, the different packaging processes that had to be put into practice that are duly described. Finally, having carried out the packaging of the artworks, once this process has been completed in the Drawing Reserve of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, the preventive conservation recommendations presented are directed towards this space.
