Com a crescente competitividade dos mercados, o processo de Recrutamento e Seleção tem vindo a assumir cada vez mais um papel preponderante na gestão estratégica das empresas, como forma de garantir a qualidade dos Recursos Humanos das mesmas e, consequentemente, o melhor desempenho organizacional. Num setor extremamente dinâmico e em contínua inovação como é o do Retalho Alimentar, a busca pelas melhores práticas e políticas de Gestão de Recursos Humanos torna-se essencial para atrair e reter os melhores talentos.
Foi neste contexto de constante superação e criatividade que decorreu o meu estágio curricular, onde tive a possibilidade de integrar diversos âmbitos de atuação dentro do Recrutamento e Seleção, no Grupo Jerónimo Martins. Assim, este documento apresenta como principal enfoque as práticas e políticas seguidas pelo Grupo, fazendo-se inicialmente um enquadramento teórico, seguido da descrição e caraterização do Grupo e da Direção de Corporate Human Resources, da qual fiz parte. Também serão foco de análise as atividades realizadas no decurso do estágio, terminando com uma reflexão crítica acerca desta experiência.
With the increasing competitiveness of the markets, the Recruitment and Selection process has been assuming an increasingly prominent role in the strategic management of companies, as a way of guaranteeing the quality of their Human Resources and, consequently, the best organizational performance. In an extremely dynamic and continuously innovating sector such as Food Retail, the search for the best practices and policies of Human Resources Management becomes essential to attract and retain the best talent. It was in this context of creativity that my curricular internship took place, where I had the opportunity to get into various action fields within Recruitment and Selection, at Jerónimo Martins Group. Thus, this document provides a main focus on the practices and policies adopted by the Group, initially within a theoretical framework, followed by the description and characterization of the Group and the Corporate Human Resources Department, of which I was a member. It will also be a focus of analysis the activities carried out during the internship, ending with a critical reflection on this experience.
