This exploratory and qualitative research seeks to increase the understanding of moral sensitivity in gifted children and the impact of the phenomenon in their daily lives, as well as the specific moral issues that concern them. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with both the children (aged 8 to 15 with a diagnosis of giftedness) and their parents (N= 11). The thematic analysis of the data suggests that moral sensitivity manifests itself around 6 years of age, with the entrance to primary education, and also that its impact spans across several aspects (e.g., social adjustment, coping strategies). The most common moral issues identified in the sample were concerns with injustice, the environment and animal cruelty.
