O presente relatório é resultado do estágio curricular desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em História da Arte e Património, que teve lugar no Museu de Marinha, equipamento cultural pertencente à Comissão Cultural de Marinha, entre 1 de Outubro de 2018 e 19 de Dezembro de 2018.
Os principais objectivos centraram-se no desempenho de tarefas no Serviço do Património do Museu de Marinha, aplicando conhecimentos obtidos na Licenciatura e no Mestrado, nomeadamente, no que diz respeito à gestão de colecções, inventário, acondicionamento de peças e conservação preventiva. Por outro lado, o trabalho inerente a este programa de estágio fundamenta-se na valorização artística e patrimonial da Colecção China Trade, através da inventariação e da apresentação de uma proposta de exposição temporária. A exposição pretende valorizar e dar a conhecer a um público diversificado uma distinta produção artística que marca uma forte interacção entre Portugal e a China durante os séculos XVIII a XX.
This report is the result of the internship at the Maritime Museum in Lisbon, cultural equipment of the Maritime Cultural Commission, between October 1, 2018 to December 19, 2018. The main objectives were focused on the performance of tasks in the Heritage Service of the Maritime Museum applying the knowledge acquired in the Masters, namely in the management of collections, inventory, packaging of parts, preventive conservation, among other tasks. On the other hand, the research inherent in this internship program is based on the valuation in terms of inventory and proposal to create a temporary exhibition on the collection of oil paintings China Trade. The exhibition intends to value and make known, to a diverse audience, the distinguished artist production that marks the interaction between Portugal and China over the 18th to 20th centuries.
