This internship report is about Accounting and Financial subjects and focuses on topics related to investment projects in industrial companies. From September 5th 2021 till March 5th 2022, I attended an internship as controller trainee at Solvay Group. This report will analyze company’s practices in the area of investment projects that involve Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and compare them with the support of literature and knowledge assimilated during the master’s study. The objective of this work is to compare how theoretical foundations are employed in a practical context, in the company. For this purpose, a description of the activities has been developed to explain the technical and behavior competencies acquired.
