| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho sugere uma reflexão crítica sobre a margem do rio Guadiana, localizada no Algarve e sobre o património rural devoluto, antigos postos da Guarda Fiscal, situados no concelho de Castro Marim. Um rio que outrora serviu de ligação principal entre a fronteira luso-espanhola e edifícios que impediam o contrabando no baixo rio Guadiana. Perante uma paisagem negligenciada e um património agora revivido no esquecimento, procuraram-se bases para o reconhecimento e reinvenção das ruínas e suas envolventes. “Reclamar o território” pretende dar uma solução a esta arquitetura esquecida, através de um processo de intervenção onde o projeto arquitetónico, arquitetado com a materialidade da madeira abre caminho para a reutilização dos antigos postos fiscais, com a criação de novos usos e até percursos que se integram pela a paisagem e o rio. | dc.description.abstract | The present work suggests a critical reflection on the margin of the Guadiana River, located in the Algarve and on the vacant rural heritage, former posts of the Fiscal Guard, located in the municipality of Castro Marim. A river that once served as the main link between the Portuguese-Spanish border and buildings that prevented smuggling in the lower Guadiana River. Faced with a neglected landscape and a heritage now revived in oblivion, bases were sought for the recognition and reinvention of the ruins and their surroundings. “Reclamar o território” intends to provide a solution to this forgotten architecture, through an intervention process where the architectural project, conceived with the materiality of wood, paves the way for the reuse of old tax posts, with the creation of new uses and even routes which are integrated by the landscape and the river.
