O envolvimento neste projeto permitiu, ainda, a
O objetivo deste trabalho é relacionar as atividades desenvolvidas durante o
School of Economics and Management (Universidade de Lisboa).
The current Internship Report is the result of my experience during the curricular internship held at the Instituto Marquês de Valle Flôr (IMVF), a Foundation and NonGovernmental Organization for Development, located in Lisbon. With the IMVF being a reference entity in various domains related to the cooperation for development, it was possible to elaborate activities within the field of decentralized cooperation, which were integrated in the Rumo a 2030 project, which aimed to strengthen the municipalities’ role in the 2030 Agenda, more precisely, in the Location of the Sustainable Development Goals. The engagement in the project also allowed the establishment of an awareness campaign against menstrual poverty, thus meeting the Rede Intermunicipal de Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento (RICD)’s will of reinforcing its attachment with the twinning’s arrangements. Besides that, there was also an opportunity to take part in the elaboration and execution of development projects. Along the course of this Internship, the role of the local actors, particularly the municipalities and NGDOs, in the development cooperation was highlighted. The aim of this work is to relate the activities developed during the internship at IMVF, with the knowledge acquired about this subject during the Master's Degree in International Development and Cooperation (MDCI) from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management (University of Lisbon).
