Abstract(s)
Este relatório é fruto da realização de um estágio curricular no âmbito do Mestrado em
Educação e Formação, com especialização em Organização e Gestão da Educação e Formação da Universidade de Lisboa. Este documento tem como objetivo explorar como
tema de investigação o trabalho do gestor na administração educativa, com o objetivo de
perceber o trabalho do mesmo como gestor e como é percecionado o tipo de liderança
exercido. O local de estágio foi a Direção-Geral da Educação, mais precisamente na Direção de Serviços de Projetos Educativos, e mais especificamente, no quadro das atividades da equipa da cidadania. Para um melhor desenvolvimento do meu trabalho utilizei a
entrevista semiestruturada, o inquérito e as notas de campo como técnicas de recolha de
dados onde depois foi realizada uma análise de conteúdo. Através da minha investigação
consegui compreender o trabalho do gestor e a grande diversidade de papeis que o mesmo
desempenha. Consegui principalmente compreender o tipo de gestor, que se caracteriza
por ser um líder que os colaboradores confiam pelo seu profissionalismo e pela sua preocupação com o bem-estar dos mesmos.
This report is the result of a curricular internship within the scope of the Master in Education and Training, specializing in Organization and Management of Education and Training at the University of Lisbon. This document aims to explore the manager's work in educational administration as a research topic, in order to understand his work as a manager and how the type of leadership exercised is perceived. The place of internship was the Directorate-General for Education, more precisely in the Directorate of Educational Project Services, and more specifically, within the framework of the activities of the citizenship team. For a better development of my work, I used the semi-structured interview, the survey and the field notes as data collection techniques, after which a content analysis was carried out. Through my research I was able to understand the manager's work and the great diversity of roles he plays. I mainly managed to understand the type of manager, who is characterized by being a leader that employees trust for his professionalism and his concern for their well-being.
