Resumo(s)
This dissertation is part of the master’s degree in Contemporary Typographic and Editorial Practices. It focuses on exploring Editorial Design as a film archive. The main objective was to evaluate how the cinematographic language can be transferred to a graphic language, giving the designer the ability to create a methodology and to act, in this way, as a filmmaker. The investigation was developed according to a mixed methodology, initially noninterventionist and then interventionist. In order to contextualize the entire investigation, it was essential to start with a literature review using the keywords and crossing the areas of: Editorial Design, Archive and Cinema. Based on grounded knowledge, it was possible to understand and complement the practical component of this project, which is the design of an editorial artifact with a documentary and archival feature about the film “A Metamorfose dos Pássaros”
