dc.description.abstractThis dissertation investigates if the current financial regulatory sandbox structure in the European Union poses a threat to the realization of a unified and integrated financial market. Subsequently, it explores the potential regulatory strategies for tackling the different challenges presented by this framework, taking into account the EU's efforts to date. Central to the discussion is the case for adopting a ‘smart regulation’ as an agile approach to navigating this dynamic environment.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractA presente dissertação investiga se o atual cenário de 'sandboxes' financeiras na União Europeia representa, de fato, uma ameaça à consolidação de um mercado financeiro unificado e integrado, bem como de seus objetivos. Além disso, explora as possíveis estratégias regulatórias para lidar com os complexos desafios apresentados por esse panorama, considerando-se os esforços empreendidos pela UE até o momento.
