Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar os resultados do projeto de intervenção pedagógica realizado com alunos do 9º ano de escolaridade, de quatro turmas da Escola Secundária Manuel de Arriaga (Horta, Açores). O estudo foi realizado no ano letivo 2017/2018, na disciplina de Ciências Naturais, e pretendia perceber quais as potencialidades educativas da conceção e da dinamização de uma exposição interativa nas aprendizagens dos alunos sobre o equilíbrio do corpo humano e a manutenção da saúde. Deste modo, procurou-se: i) conhecer qual o impacto da conceção e da dinamização da exposição interativa na motivação dos alunos; ii) perceber se a conceção e a dinamização da exposição interativa contribui para a aprendizagem de conteúdos; iii) verificar se o processo inerente à conceção e à dinamização da exposição interativa tem algum efeito no relacionamento entre os alunos; e iv) averiguar se a conceção e a dinamização da exposição interativa contribui para o desenvolvimento de competências de ativismo nos alunos.
Tratou-se de um estudo sobre a própria prática pedagógica alusiva à temática do funcionamento do corpo humano e da educação para a manutenção da saúde. A investigação, que assentou na construção de objetos interativos para a dinamização de uma exposição, teve uma abordagem qualitativa. Os dados foram obtidos através da observação participante dos alunos durante o processo de construção e dinamização da exposição, da avaliação dos trabalhos realizados pelos alunos e da análise das respostas a dois questionários: um aplicado aos visitantes e outro aos alunos após a realização da exposição.
Concluiu-se que a conceção e a dinamização de uma exposição interativa: contribuiu positivamente para a motivação dos alunos e que esta aumentou ao longo do processo; permitiu aos alunos aprenderem melhor e adquirirem mais conhecimento sobre o tema em estudo; conduziu a um melhor relacionamento entre os alunos e possibilitou o desenvolvimento de competências de ativismo nos alunos. As principais dificuldades incidiram na gestão do tempo durante o desenvolvimento do trabalho. De um modo geral, os participantes e os visitantes referiram que foi uma experiência muito interessante. O estudo, como nova estratégia de ensino-aprendizagem, revelou-se muito positivo e com inúmeras potencialidades para os professores.
This work aims to present the results of the project of pedagogical intervention, carried out with students of four classes of the 9th year level of Manuel de Arriaga High School (Horta, Azores). The study, carried out in the 2017/2018 academic year in the Natural Sciences course, aimed to understand the educational potential of the conception and dynamization of an interactive exhibition in the students learning about the balance of the human body and the maintenance of health. In this study, we tried to: i) know the impact of the conception and dynamization of the interactive exhibition on the motivation of the students; ii) to see if the conception and dynamization of the interactive exhibition contributes to improve the learning of the contents; iii) to verify if the process inherent to the conception and dynamization of the interactive exhibition, has any effect on the relationship between the students; and iv) to verify if the conception and dynamization of the interactive exhibition contributes to the development of activism competences in the students. It was a study about the pedagogical practice itself referring to the theme of the functioning of the human body and education for the maintenance of health. The research, based on the construction of interactive objects for the dynamization of an interactive experience, took a qualitative approach. The data were obtained from the participant observation of the students during the construction of the object and the dynamization of the exhibition, the evaluation of the work done by the students and the analysis of a questionnaire applied to the visitors and another applied to the students after the exhibition. We concluded that the conception and the dynamization of an interactive exhibition: contributed positively to the motivation of the students and that this increased throughout the process; allowed the students to learn better and acquire more knowledge about the subject under study; led to a better relationship between students and enabled the development of activism skills in students. The main difficulties identified related with management of the time during the development of the work. Participants and visitors generally reported that it was a very interesting experience. The study, as a new teaching-learning strategy, reveals to be very positive and with many potentialities for teachers.
