This work arises from an evident need for urban cohesion, in a place close to the city of Lisbon, focusing on the search and development of a solution to overcome the above-mentioned problem. After a first analysis, it was concluded that the design of a hybrid building was the best option, since they have a strong impact on the urban fabric and create relationships with the places where they are established. As the reason for this weak cohesion and urban fragmentation is the presence of infrastructures that prevent the articulation of the urban fabric, a theoretical investigation was developed associated with the impacts of infrastructure in the city, resulting in physical and visual limits and barriers, as well as deepening the knowledge about the characteristics of a hybrid building, as well as its influence on the design of the city. The project integrates an urban plan for the neighborhood of Moscavide, and it was through this plan and the analysis carried out previously that objectives were outlined in order to create the bases for the smaller-scale proposal. This way, the research materializes in the project of a hybrid building, whose relevance of the program is adapted to the needs of the place, in an attempt to solve the problems in question, through an interventional project strategy in the urban fabric, aiming at urban cohesion.
