natural.
equilibrar as três dimensões do desenvolvimento sustentável: econômica, social e
ambiental.
The present dissertation seeks to investigate the mechanisms and implications that have occurred, in the context of the dynamics of economic sustainability, the use of marine resources and the impact on the lives of the populations of the province of Namibe, as well as exploring the concepts of sustainable economic development coined with the term blue economy, the emergence of concepts that aim to guide economic development and reduce the impact of human activities on the natural environment. Small-scale fishing is the fishing modality that aims at the economic exploitation of marine resources, directly impacting the livelihoods of coastal populations, this economic phenomenon is one of the economic activities that present the most risks, due to climate change and phenomena derived from climate change. The blue economy is an approach put forward by the international community to take the health of oceans and seas into account as we strive to balance the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental. This concept promotes economic growth, social inclusion and improved livelihoods, while ensuring the environmental sustainability of oceans and seas. It defines a new paradigm of the ocean economy, which is in balance with the long-term capacity of the assets, goods, and services of marine ecosystems, and which considers socialin clusion.
