This report is the result of the Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master's Degree in Visual Arts Teaching for the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education, which took place at the Helena Cidade Moura Secondary School, of the Ibn Mucana School Group, in Alcabideche, Cascais. The Didactic Unit taught, with the theme "An Immersive Experience in Descriptive Geometry A", focused on the intersection of projecting planes, took place in a class of the 10th grade of Scientific-Humanistic Course in Visual Arts, in the subject of Descriptive Geometry A, and took place over the course of 10 45-minute lessons. The methodology followed in this supervised teaching practice was Action Research, which necessarily has an empirical basis centered on practice and action. This research was based on the following theories: Bauman's liquid modernity, related to the characteristics of today's teenagers; socio-cognitive theory, centered on the collaborative work, which has been practiced in this study; motivation’s theories, revisited in Schink, Pereira, Vigotsky; the theories of Barth, Duval and Van Hiele, who maintain that learning depends on the teaching-learning process that the student has experienced; and finally, Efland, who induced the planning of this Didactic Unit with a strong component of experimentation. The strategies used centered on the use of three-dimensional resources, starting with an understanding of the exercises in the space and then a two-dimensional representation on a sheet of paper. The dynamics of this Didactic Unit also included the construction of a three-dimensional model after solving an exercise, as well as an immersive classroom experience. The results obtained show a positive evaluation by the students and a collaborative approach during all the phases of the Didactic Unit which, at every time, prompted the students to leave the "paper dimension" and enter the three dimensions of Descriptive Geometry.
