No estudo
qualitativo (N=40) colaboraram 30 profissionais e 10 participantes dos projetos. No
The aim of this study is to explore how to characterize networks of social support regarding risk and protection factors of families participating in different social intervention programs. Moreover, another objective is to understand what are the characteristics and objectives of the intervention that affects the network of these same families. The research used a qualitative methodology (focus group and interview) which, in turn, explored a quantitative tool, the Social Provision Scale (Moreira, Canaipa, 2007), to ascertain the perception of technicians and families. In the quantitative study (N = 40), 30 professionals and 10 project participants have collaborated. In the quantitative study (N = 30), only intervention-targeted individuals of different projects participated. From the emerging data, we understand the importance of social support is sustained from both the technicians and families’ perspective, who have identified risk and protective factors at different levels of the network, from the family to the extended system. In general, it was found that the aims of intervention, with multi-challenged families in the context of poverty, is to promote the revitalization of support networks and, it stands out as a success factor for the various interventions, the perception of positive characteristics in the relationship of families with the technical’s, who enhance the collaboration between both. In conclusion, it was discussed the limitations of this investigation, the theoretical and interventional implications, as well as future investigation paths.
