Abstract(s)
escolha para a implantação do próximo Campus
Residencial de Apoio a Doentes Oncológicos.
A presente proposta Arquitectónica visa melhorar o
deste trabalho. Passando por reabilitar temáticas que
envolvem infra-estruturas, estradas, agricultura, sistemas
Nowadays, Portugal is inevitably facing a stage of huge disturbance in the health field. The issue does not only come along in 2019 with the appearance of Covid-19, but it has been present for a long time. We can enumerate a series of questions, which are ignored in most cases, or maybe even recognized, but unfortunately not rectified. Architecture, obviously, can’t deal with all these questions, but it can absolutely help to improve and redefine some of Portugal's health care sectors. The following work intends to identify some of those issues, deciding in a drawing matter what was produced incorrectly in the past, and what should be fixed in the future project - based on concepts and practices suitable to the patients in question. For that to happen, first of all, we need to identify the issues and questions that Architecture can actually take care of in the future of the NHS. Being Lisbon the big urban plan to operate, more precisely in Vale de Alcântara, this will be the area of choice for the implementation of the next Oncology Residencial Campus Support. The following Architecture thesis, aims to improve the services in the support field of a cancer patient. More precisely, the conception of a residential campus for cancer patients. A space that aims to respond to the tons of support needs of a cancer patient, which are indeed missing at the moment - mostly during his treatment process. We are talking about an effective proposal that answers efficiently to a need that is clearly urgent. In the search for the most efficient solution for this matter, multiple fields that are considered valuable to the quality of conception of this work are explored. We’re talking about a total restructuration of the chosen local for the execution of this work. Passing by rehabilitation fields that explore infrastructures, roads, agriculture, ecology systems, among others. The goal is to build a solid base that provides a new path and solves these disturbances in the health field in Portugal and provides a better quality of life for each one of the Vale de Alcantara's residents.
