| dc.description.abstract | O presente texto incide sobre alguns dos efeitos que poderão emergir da resolução (com invocação de justa causa) do contrato de trabalho desportivo por iniciativa do praticante desportivo no contexto do futebol profissional em Portugal. Tendo por base de análise a Lei n.º 54/2017, e com atenção ao disposto em sede regulamentar e de contratação coletiva neste âmbito, colocamos o foco na responsabilidade pela cessação contratual e na possibilidade de aplicação de sanções desportivas aos jogadores por uma eventual desvinculação indevida. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present study focuses on some of the effects that could emerge from the termination of a sporting employment contract (invoking just cause) by initiative of a sportsman in the context of professional football in Portugal. Basing our analysis on the Law No. 54/2017, while also paying attention to what’s established in sporting regulations and collective bargaining agreements in this particular sphere, we put the spotlight on the compensation for the breach of contract, as well as on the possibility of imposing sporting sanctions to the players for an undue termination of the sporting employment contract. | pt_PT |
