O objetivo deste estudo foi medir o impacto das emoções morais e do ambiente familiar no desenvolvimento da agressividade nas manifestações sexuais dos adolescentes dos 12 aos. 18 anos. Aplicaram-se dois instrumentos psicométricos, um relacionado com o ambiente familiar e a qualidade de vida dos adolescentes, o KIDSCREEN-52© - Versão Portuguesa, outro relacionado com a culpabilidade dos comportamentos sexuais, agressivos e morais dos adolescentes, o Revised Mosher Guilt Inventory (RMGI) - adaptado.
Recorreu-se a uma amostra aleatória recrutada da população geral de 92 jovens, 35 rapazes e 57 raparigas, a viverem com ambos os pais ou não, com idades compreendidas entre os 12 e os 18 anos, uma média etária de 14.88 anos (DP = 1.88) e com escolaridade entre o quinto ano e o primeiro ano do ensino superior, sendo a média o 9º ano, a frequentarem escolas e universidades de Portugal e Ilhas. A maioria dos jovens era de nacionalidade portuguesa (91%), vivia com ambos os pais (71%) e só com a mãe (23%) e não tinha nenhuma deficiência, doença ou condição física crónica (89%).
Os resultados obtidos não demonstraram uma relação direta entre o ambiente familiar e o desenvolvimento da agressividade nas manifestações sexuais, contudo verificaram-se os seguintes resultados. As raparigas sentem mais culpa nas dimensões Sexo-culpa com t (69) = -2.061; p = .043, Hostilidade-culpa com t (71) = -3.471; p = .001 e Moralidade-consciência com t (78) = -2.518; p = .014. e mostram uma percepção menos positiva na dimensão Estado de humor geral com t (85) = -2.673; p = .009. Os rapazes, os resultados não foram significativos, no que diz respeito à culpa, porém revelaram melhor percepção da Saúde e atividade física com t (89) = 2.571; p = .012, Sentimentos t (88) = 3.085; p = .003, Tempo livre/autonomia com t (88) = 2.695; p = .008, Família e ambiente familiar com t (85) = 2.091 e Questões económicas com t (88) = 2.006; p = .048.
The aim of this study was to measure the impact of moral emotions and family environment in the development of aggressiveness in sexual manifestations of adolescents aged from 12 to 18. We applied two psychometric instruments, related to a family environment and quality of life of adolescents, © Kidscreen-52 - Portuguese version, the other related to the guilt of sexual behaviors, adolescents' aggressive and moral, the Revised Mosher Guilt Inventory (RMGI) - adapted. A random sample of 92 adolescents was recruited from the general population, 35 boys and 57 girls, living with both parents or not, aged between 12 and 18 years, a mean age of 14.88 years (SD = 1.88) and between the 5th grade and the 1st year of higher education, the average being the 9th grade, from schools and universities in Portugal and Islands. Most young people were of Portuguese origin (91%) lived with both parents (71%) or only with the mother (23%) and had no disability, chronic illness or physical condition (89%). The results did not demonstrate a direct relationship between family environment and the development of aggressiveness in sexual expression, but found the following results. The girls felt more guilt-guilt Gender dimensions with t (69) = -2061, p = .043, Hostility-guilt with t (71) = -3471, p = .001 and Morality-conscience with t (78) = -2518, p = .014. and showed a less positive mood state dimension in general with t (85) = -2673, p = .009. The boys, the results were not significant with respect to guilt, but showed better perception of health and physical activity with t (89) = 2,571, p = .012, t Feelings (88) = 3,085, p = .003 , Free time / autonomy with t (88) = 2,695, p = .008, Family and family with t (85) = 2091, and economic issues with t (88) = 2,006, p = .048.
