Estágio na direção financeira da CA Vida

Este relatório tem como principal objetivo relatar as atividades desenvolvidas no Crédito Agrícola Vida - Companhia de Seguros, S.A., doravante também designada por CA Vida ou Companhia, empresa na qual foi realizado um estágio de âmbito curricular, ao longo de 3 meses. Durante o estágio foi possível acompanhar e participar as diversas atividades realizadas na Área Financeira, bem como proceder a uma análise prática acerca da rentabilidade e taxa de sinistralidade da CA Vida, por comparação com a Zurich Vida. Para esta análise recorreu-se a dados dos Relatórios e Contas (RC) de ambas as empresas, referentes ao ano de 2019, por não terem sido publicados os RC de 2020, à data da análise. Na parte relativa à gestão das carteiras da CA Vida, foi possível estabelecer uma relação com o Crédito Agrícola Gest - SGOIC, S.A., doravante também designada por CA Gest, onde foi possível acompanhar os investimentos realizados, como a aquisição de ações, obrigações e futuros, através da plataforma Bloomberg. Para uma melhor compreensão da empresa e a sua envolvente, procedeu-se também a uma pesquisa profunda acerca da mesma, do grupo, mercado e setor onde está inserida, alinhada com a situação atual pandémica e económica. Ainda nesta parte há a referência à sustentabilidade na Companhia e no Grupo CA.
The main purpose of this report is to describe the activities carried out at Crédito Agrícola Vida - Companhia de Seguros, SA, hereinafter also referred to as CA Vida or Companhia, a company in which a 3-month internship was completed. During the internship, it was possible to monitor and participate in the various business practices of the Financial Area, as well as perform a practical analysis of the profitability and accident rate of CA Vida, in comparison with Zurich Vida. For this analysis, data from the Annual Reports and Accounts of both companies, referring to the year 2019, were used, as the 2020 documents were not published at the time of writing. In a section dedicated to the management of CA Vida's portfolios, it was possible to establish a relationship with Crédito Agrícola Gest - SGOIC, SA, hereinafter also referred to as CA Gest, where the investments made could be monitored, such as the acquisition of shares, bonds and futures, through the Bloomberg platform. For a better understanding of the company and its surroundings, in-depth research was performed on the company, the group, market and sector in which it operates, in line with the current pandemic and economic situation. Sustainability in CA Vida and the CA Group is explored.
